YET ANOTHER OUSTANDING OFSTED REPORT IN ALL AREAS! - July 2019 (Read the full report in News Items)

The Ofsted Inspector said: ' The enthusiastic manager and staff team provide a holistic family approach to high quality learning experiences in a welcoming, safe and secure environment. Staff are well informed and knowledgeable educators.
Children demonstrate exemplary behaviour and excellent social skills. All staff give children consistent messages about their expectations for behaviour. This helps children to understand rules and boundaries, and how to keep themselves and others safe...'

Kent County Council Early Years Improvement Adviser said:
'The children were purposeful and extremely engaged in their learning. High levels of independence were clearly in evidence and the children's personal and social skills highly developed. Resources are well organised and frequently refreshed to reflect the children's interests. High quality interactions were observed by staff and every opportunity to extend children's thinking was being taken. Children were keen to engage with each other and adults to share their learning. Routines both inside and out were well established and the children show great pride in their environment'

''..." Visited the Pre-School today for the first time and was absolutely overwhelmed by the staff, atmosphere, activities and how calm and peaceful it was for a Pre-School. All children looked engaged in what they were doing and very happy. Wonderful place" Parent (2024)

Trinity Pre-School offers modern bespoke premises with excellent facilities for the variety of indoor and outdoor activities we offer, including carpeted rooms, wet play areas, children's cloakroom and toilets, as well as a large challenging but safe garden with a soft play area.

Pre-school's professional team work cohesively to provide bespoke care and education to each child who attends. All sessions are provided in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (2024), published by the Department for Education and Skills (DfES).

Being an Ofsted registered group, we are also committed to offer a high standard of educational provision through a carefully planned and ambitious curriculum plan. Our annual plan is delivered through joint adult-led/child-initiated play activities and we are sensitive to each individual child's stage of development. A Five Star award for hygiene from the Environmental Health Services, and a special accreditation award from the Pre-School Learning Alliance ensure that parents can depend upon our high quality of care and commitment.

Our professional and experienced Staff:

All educators hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate, are trained in children's Safeguarding, Health and Safety and SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).

The team is led by an enthusiastic and committed Manager Trudi Kitney (BA Hons in Early Years Management with Early Years Professional Status (EYPS), experienced in mentoring undergraduates at Canterbury Christ Church University undertaking the EYPS award, who closely works with the team in order to deliver high quality learning experiences for children and their parents.
